Town held by Norton & Stockton Ancients
Town led 2-0 however a quick fire comeback from the hosts meant that the points were shared.
Charlotte Stuart scored a brace but it unfortunately was not enough for all three points.
First Half
The hosts started well with Bianca Owens strike comfortably saved by Kacey Bolton-Woollam. They continued to pile the pressure on and Owens in particular caused Town problems, with her free kick blocked by the wall, with a quick break almost leading to a Katie Astle chance, but it was well blocked by the defender.
Town took the lead though just after the half-hour mark, with Yasmin Mason putting a ball in from the left, which fell perfectly to Stuart who tapped in from close range.

Second Half
The lead was almost doubled shortly after the break, with Caz Simone’s powerful strike from the edge of the area deflected wide.
It was Simone who created Town’s second, with their cross headed in by Stuart. The two goal advantage lasted all of two minutes when an Owens free kick was parried and put home from close range.
A dramatic few minutes continued with Norton reduced to ten players after one of their players was sent off for dissent.
It did not make too much of an impact though, as a ball in from the right hand side was deemed to have struck the arm of Serena Fletcher by the referee who pointed to the spot, much to the frustration of the Town players.
It was Owens who stepped up and sent Bolton-Woolam the wrong way to bring it all square.
The home side had a chance to win it in the dying embers but Owens effort went over the bar on the break.
