
Town were undone by a poor first half performance which saw Wolves dominate and cause many Town problems at the back.
Town were behind in the opening 60 seconds when they lost the ball in their own half. Wolves broke quickly and Liv Ferguson struck the ball into the bottom corner.
A chance for Town came when Mallin beat the defence and shot from just outside the area but it was well saved by the Wolves keeper.
Wolves continued to press and Town struggled to gain possession. Wolves doubled their lead through Destiny Toussaint in the 27th minute when she was set free and rounded Imogen Maguire to fire home, 2-0.
It took just another 3 minutes to make it 3-0 when Wolves captain Anna Morphet headed home powerfully from a corner.
In the 37th minute a cross was parried by Maguire and the loose ball was fired home by Merrick Wick.
Town made a change to both players and formation at half time and that helped them to keep Wolves at bay.
Maguire pulled off a good save to avoid a conceding a fifth just after the hour mark and Town managed to avoid conceding any further to end the game 4-0 down.
