Huddersfield Town Women FC are delighted to announce the signing of versatile forward Rebecca Beresford.
The former Evertonian signs from fellow FAWNL Northern Division side AFC Fylde and will look to make an impact in the remaining 10 league fixtures. She has already tallied an assist in yesterday’s game away to Derby County.
Town fans can look forward to seeing Rebecca playing in many attacking positions, such as a striker, wide forward and attacking midfielder.
Rebecca Beresford spoke to use on signing for the Terriers: “I’m looking forward to this new opportunity. Since coming in the girls and coaching staff have been really supportive”.
Manager Glen Preston is excited by this signing as he says “We’re delighted to bring Rebecca to the club. She’s someone I’ve admired since her Everton days, who adds quality that is desperately needed in the forward positions, and I think she adds to the culture too because she’s a lovely person as well. I’m looking forward to working with her”.
