Driving (1hr 30m)
The quickest route from Huddersfield to Derby is to take the M1 southbound, exiting at junction 28 onto the A38. Continue on the A38 for 13 miles until you reach a roundabout (Little Eaton Island). Here, take the second exit onto Abbey Hill and at the first roundabout after you pass Derby University, take the third exit onto Ashbourne Road. Take the second left onto Radbourne Lane, then at the first roundabout go straight ahead, but take the first exit at the second roundabout further along down the road. The ground will then just be on your left, signposted ‘Mickleover FC’. There is plenty of free parking at the ground, however if full, there are streets near the ground that allow parking.
Public Transport (2hr 45m)
The best way to make it to the ground from Huddersfield Station is by getting the train to Derby (~ 2hrs), then walking to Derby bus station (or taking the 1C bus if you are unable to walk 20 minutes). Here, take the ‘mickleover’ bus to the end of Ladybank Road. Buses are due every 30 minutes.
